Sasha is channeling her creativity to raise funds and awareness for art therapy programs at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
From the day she was born, Sasha has been living with Cerebral Palsy Right Hemiplegia (CP). She first started painting her mom’s Levi’s for fun in 2016, but it quickly became more than just a creative outlet. Painting helped keep her engaged and distracted from the discomfort of her leg surgery while also strengthening her upper body. What started as a personal activity soon turned into a mission to give back.
She founded The Sasha Project LA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ art therapy program, which helps kids heal through creativity. Now, Sasha splatter-paints not just denim, but all kinds of items, turning everyday pieces into meaningful works of art. For a donation, she will hand-paint your jeans, jackets, or other items, with 100% of the proceeds going toward this cause. One painted piece at a time, she is using art to make a difference.
